THE EARRINGS:
Made in a clip on earring, these were designed with a cluster top that has various shaped cuts & is used as an anchor for the softened triangular shaped cluster drop.
Flawlessly hand picked for their color & size, the drop is made in a 5 tiered design of perfectly matched 4 mm round cuts of Spiny Oyster shell. What is impressive about the drop's design is for the fact, that the shape was cut & sawed from one solid piece of sheet sterling, that was then hand cut out to create all the tiers, as opposed to how some artists might have taken the path where they would cut strips for each of the tier's & THEN solder the strips to the perimeter.. I personally find this to be a more genius way to create the layers! (See backside)
Being that this shell offers a wide spectrum of warm colors, this particular orange has lots of yellow tones in them & even though not as deeply saturated in color like many I carry, the cuts still have the vibrancy that the shell is known for.
These offer an upscale Santa Fe'an look that's very contemporary in design & because of their contemporary southwestern aesthetic, these can be worn in OR out of the southwest! They're the perfect choice for any event when you want to add that touch of sophisticated glamour!
