Although New Mexico based Navajo Ronnie Willie calls To’hajiilee,NM his home,he presently resides in ABQ.NM..Ronnie was the 1st artist who started making those heavy gauge cuffs that are fully beaded & that have crosses that lay atop & generally come with various colored stones..Art runs through Ronnie's blood & loves creating by being a sand painter,sand caster,Kachina carver,rock sculptor,wood carver,which most of these things he does more on the side,since he mainly focuses on silversmithing 5 out of 7 days a week..He makes his own stamps & other tools he uses to make his jewelry,which give his work it's own identity..He is an artist whose work is highly sought after & is considered one of the best in present day jewelry. He is a veteran artist who has been doing jewelry for decades.

THE EARRINGS:

Made exclusively for my store, these come from Ronnie's New Mexico "ZIA CROSS" line of jewelry. The Zia Sun symbol cross represents our great state & all you have to see is this cross that says one thing & that is NEW MEXICO! With these earrings,It doesn't matter if you're a NM resident or just love all things NM, they'll be a earring you'll be proud to wear that has New Mexico written all it!!

Anchored from the turquoise tops are the Zia charm drop which is made by the hands of Ronnie where he cut & then hand tooled the sterling. These are very wearable,not only in size,but in weight, since the gauge of sterling used for the Zia charm is fairly light.

Both earrings are made the same way,but the only thing that changes is the cut of the stone.
