SLEEPING BEAUTY TURQUOISE:
The turquoise in these are from the now closed Sleeping Beauty turquoise mine and once belonged to "Larry Cooley" who had nothing but THE finest turquoise, that happened to be mined long before they started treating turquoise..(You can learn much more about Larry by clicking on his name in each earring,necklace categories) Sleeping Beauty stands apart from the other mines, based on not only it's 'true' turquoise color, but for the fact that it lacks matrix,which we often see in other mines & to some can look fake for these reasons. This particular turquoise works well when artists are doing cluster work & they want a uniform tone throughout & is one reason the Zuni Puebloan artists use this turquoise, since the color doesn't shift in tonality. It's some of the most vibrant blue turquoise you'd ever witness & has now only increased in value since closing & especially for these premium grades like you’ll find in these earrings!
THE EARRINGS:
Designed with top notch/premium stones, these are designed in an extremely bold size & honestly, as big as they are, makes them that much more fabulous lookin on! They are serious in size, but yet VERY sophisticated & super classy in style! They're the perfect hoop earring that will command all eyes will be on you!
Anchored from a small 3/4" size cross top, hangs a 26 stone-channel cluster layout of evenly matched 'Tile" cuts that dictate the hoops gigantic 2-3/4" circular size. Because of the generous amount of materials used, we made these in a clip on earring.
Perfect event earrings, wedding earrings, entertainers, rodeo events, dinners, you name it!
