Being just about as wide as they are long, there is something so absolutely beautiful about the way these cuts were creatively laid out in a 'reversed' pattern where the 3 varied sized pear shaped cuts create a wonderfully designed triangular formed earring! Using only the finest Mediterranean red coral on hand, the color goes from a "red to a deep "red-red" color as opposed to orange/red. The cuts are clean with only maybe 1 or 2 having very slight inherit markings that are generally seen with coral..
They can pair well with any southwestern Coral collection & because of their non-traditional/ contemporary look, these can be worn in or out of the southwest, without looking too southwestern.

Anyone in this business knows how much the price of Coral has climbed to & has gotten so ridiculously expensive, which makes it unaffordable for many artists to even consider buying. In the last few years, Coral's cost has skyrocketed up to 500% & compared to a few years ago when it was at about $250 a gram,it is now over $1000 a gram. Coral is now on the "Rare" list & no longer can it be fished, nor brought in the USA. (These reasons are reflected in the price) Everyday the price goes up & up & will never be the price tomorrow, as it is today & keeps rising.. Coral has become a collectible material because of this.
