THIS IS A UNISEX CUFF THAT BOTH MEN & WOMEN CAN WEAR!
ABOUT DELBERT:
Delbert's work demands a higher price than most & it's pretty obvious why. Considered a veteran "Master Navajo Artist" that has been at this now for decades & is a phenomenal artist that has taught & helped pave the careers for many of today's traditional Navajo Gallup jewelers that you find on the market..Delbert is the 'go-to" guy & the man who other silversmith's look up to when they need technique/inspiration.
Delbert's work is beyond extraordinary & stays true to his Navajo roots by staying undeniably, traditional. He is 'old school' for the fact that each & everything that goes into his intricate metal work is completely hand fabricated.
Jewelers that started back in the era he had,it was important to use only natural, premium stones for their jewelry & with so many mines now closed down,it's hard for someone who came out of that era to settle for anything less, especially when your reputation & name are on the line..
Delbert 1st hand picks his stones & then lets the stone(s) dictate the design..He never knows what he is going to make until the stone starts to 'speak' to him & then builds around it with the heavy gauge sterling & incorporating the most incredible ornate, embellished work.

THE CUFF:
There are certain artists that I literally get overly excited over when I get their work in & Delbert is one of those artist's that I can't get enough of! He's always a "YES" for me, since you can never go wrong with anything he makes & whose work is like having a work of art in metal form..
All the way around, this is one of the most amazingly created cuffs & the workmanship is beyond gorgeous! From all the beautifully embellished sterling work he did where he cuts & creates by hand, to the PREMIUM choice cut of Pilot Mountain, to the solid weight it has,the gorgeous vintage revival finishing & finally, the fully tooled underside that completes this work of art!!
What I love about Delbert's work, is he's all about time consuming detail where he layers upon layers all these cut out appliques that lay on top of the oxidized shank & there is no where where the shank is left empty without design. And if anyone can dress up the metal & bring it to a whole new level of design,it's Delbert..All of these appliques give additional weight to the already heavy gauge sterling shank.
THE TURQUOISE:
Personally, there is nothing prettier than the turquoise that the Pilot Mountain mine produces & especially when you have a premium quality cut of it.. The blues are like no other & can go from having these beautiful Caribbean ocean 'aqua' colors to these gorgeous teals.. The tannish golden brown matrix only makes the stone that much more beautiful!! When it comes to the turquoise's size, this has a pretty good size cut that comes with a lot of carat weight & is one of the best (reflected in price) It has a 'glossy-mirror' finish, which validates the quality, since low grade-softer turquoise will not give this glossy finish when the lapidarist goes to polish the stone. It sits in a perfectly cut hand made serrated bezel.
THE INTERIOR:
Pounding through the thick gauge metal, the shank is fully tooled on the underside from end to end! Looking like a 'Navajo rug design' the interior is tooled with crescent moon shapes & arrows. This also has his hallmark.
THE FINISHING:
The finishing is just as drop dead gorgeous as the rest of it! It literally gleams with beauty since he knows how & where to give the metal maximum contrast by leaving it deeply oxidized deep in the crevices below & a lighter oxidation on the tops.
Made with a circumference that both man or woman can wear & will be the focus without it being 'over the top' & so large that men won't find attractive! The cuff has a wide 1-3/8" opening which helps if you have a 'fleshy' wrist & need that extra space.
You can witness ALL the love & time that went into making this extraordinary cuff! Delbert is highly collectible & this cuff can be passed down from generation to generation & will only increase in value..Delbert is the artist if you want 'collectible' premium Navajo jewelry..
