What you can expect from Rick’s work, are nothing less than works of art. No, he’s not an artist that just puts a stone on the cuff & then he’s done, but instead, goes on to make all of his appliques & everything else that’s overlaid atop of a fully hand tooled shank & then applies them to the design.. The appliques are just as important to the design as the high grade stones he uses.. This is what contributes to each piece having a very ornate-embellished feel.

Having a powerful Navajo vibe, while keeping it traditional,. Rick 1st picks his stone & then lets the stone dictate the design. In this cuff,he used a high grade cut of Spiderweb Kingman turquoise that has coppery colored matrix.

THE FINISHING:

It’s not only Rick’s wonderful sterling work that I am always mesmerized by, but it’s for the fact, that he’s an artist who instinctively knows how much & where to leave the darkened oxidation in order for not only the total cuff to come to life, but by leaving the oxidation deep in the crevices, accentuates the stamped design. This contrast helps to bring out all that undeniable Navajo charm, that is simply drop dead gorgeous!!! (Please zoom in on all the photos)

SIZING:

This is made for a wide size wrist, but for a wrist that is not "fleshy & meaty" since the gap only has a 7/8" opening.. If you know how to adjust a cuff & feel confident enough to open the gap up a bit more, this can be done with this cuff, since there is only one stone (As opposed to a row cuff or a cluster cuff) & the sterling gauge is right at the brink between being able to & not being able to.. 

If you don't feel comfortable doing this, then I would take it to a reputable jeweler. But just know, that the only thing by doing this, will be to enlarge the gap to accommodate a more meaty wrist, so it can then go over the arm.. It does NOT change the 5-3/4" interior.
