ABOUT THE TURQUOISE:
White Buffalo turquoise is considered "Rare" since there was only so much that came out of it's Nevada mine & is considered extremely valuable since the mine is practically depleted.

What makes this turquoise White,is for the fact that it lacks the heavy metal content of iron,copper,zinc that makes turquoise either blue or green.You will see the black chert characteristics which give it,it's character.

THE CUFF:
The sole focus of this cuff is not on no fancy dancy sterling work,but more so on the most incredible cut of White Buffalo turquoise you'll ever lay your eyes on! The smokey black chert characteristics are highly present & the way the white lines run throughout, give this some amazing character! (See photos)

The cuff has a very Fred Harvey-esque sort of look to it & can remind you of jewelry that was being made during the 40's Harvey period.The large oval stone sits in it's bezel with twisted wire & 1/2 triangular wire that lay around it.The little conchos follow the curvature of the stone & are all hand made, where Leon melted the sterling down into little tiny beads & then hand pounding them in shape & stamping the design into each.The sides have scalloped edge sheilds that are aslo done in this same way.
The design sits on a 5 round wire split shank that is spead out to accomodate the centers 2-3/8" width & all wires are soldered together toward the gap forming a corrugated look & also helps to give strength to this area.
